Letter of appreciation from the N.C. Soil and Water Conservation Commission

A couple weeks ago I received a letter of appreciation from the N.C. Soil and Water Conservation Commission that highlights the efforts towards improving and protecting water quality during my tenure as Commissioner of Agriculture. Soil and Water programs like the ones highlighted in this letter are critical for good stewardship of our natural resources and the resilience of agriculture and our environment.

I want to take the time to thank the Commission for their excellent partnership with our Soil and Water Division within the Department!
